Despite the lingering chill of spring, the passion remains undiminished! A highlight of the New York Firearms Association (NYFA) Long Island Range's spring training.

On March 8, 2025, the breath of spring quietly arrived, but a chill still lingered at the Long Island shooting range. Nevertheless, the enthusiasm of the members of the New York Firearms Association (NYFA) remained undiminished. Both male and female shooting enthusiasts gathered at the range, armed with gear and determination, to demonstrate their love and pursuit of shooting through their actions.

This spring training program was less rigid and focused more on communication and sharing among members. The activities covered basic firearms operation, safety procedures, and precision shooting , but the overall atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. Novice trainees, under the guidance of instructors and senior members, gradually mastered the essentials, from gun holding posture to firing techniques; while experienced shooters freely chose to challenge themselves with more difficult shooting subjects or exchange experiences and techniques with other members.

The participation of female shooting enthusiasts added more vitality to the training. Their serious attitude and steady performance demonstrated their passion for the sport. Whether beginners handling firearms for the first time or experienced shooters, the female members remained composed throughout the training, learning from and progressing together with their peers. Their participation not only enriched the diversity of NYFA but also fostered a more harmonious and inclusive atmosphere at the shooting range.

Despite the low temperature, the atmosphere at the shooting range was lively. Gunshots rang out, accompanied by members' conversations and laughter. Every shot was a test of skill; every load reinforced safety awareness. NYFA provides its members with a relaxed yet professional platform where everyone can freely exchange ideas and share their passion and insights about firearms.

Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, this is a place full of enthusiasm and friendship, and we look forward to welcoming more friends!
