On Saturday, October 4, 2025, a sunny weekend with a hint of early autumn in the air, the New York Firearms Association (NYFA) invited friends from the Henan and Northeast China Associations to a shooting range for a friendly shooting activity that combined exchange and experience. The event, guided by the principles of "safety first, friendship paramount," aimed to promote interaction and understanding between community groups through live-fire shooting experience.

The atmosphere at the event was enthusiastic yet orderly. NYFA instructors provided participants with detailed explanations of firearms safety rules and basic shooting techniques, ensuring that every participant could experience the joy of shooting in a safe and regulated environment. Notably, this event included a new segment: rifle shooting, which has been less common in previous shooting activities. This allowed participants to personally experience the handling characteristics and shooting feel of different types of weapons, further expanding their shooting experience and knowledge.

On that day, several friends from the Henan and Northeast Associations (including some association presidents) were invited to participate in the event in their individual capacities and experienced live-fire shooting under the professional guidance of NYFA instructors. They took turns trying out various types of weapons, including pistols, AR-15s, AK-47s, shotguns, and sniper rifles. From close-range target shooting to mid-to-long-range precision shooting, the participants all demonstrated a high degree of focus and interest.

At the end of the event, NYFA and friends from both organizations took a group photo, bringing this pleasant exchange to a successful close. This friendly shooting activity not only allowed participants to share the fun of shooting in a safe and orderly environment, but also further deepened the connections and friendships between various organizations, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation and interaction.
