As there were language barriers between the elderly man and some of the surrounding residents, Mr. Wong and Mr. Cheng voluntarily helped with translation and promptly called emergency medical services. While waiting for the ambulance to arrive, they stayed with the elderly man alongside other bystanders, comforting him and monitoring his condition to ensure he was properly cared for.
